Door Entry Systems

Door entry systems range from basic voice call and response systems to those with voice and picture facilities. For buildings such as Sheltered Housing where frail, disabled or older people are living, then hand free systems and those augmented with internal flashing lights and picture display are particularly helpful in allowing accessibility and security for the tenants.

Door Entry Systems and Sheltered Housing

External door entry panels can be supplied as vandal proof as far as possible with the additional facility of CCTV monitoring meaning that all callers and users of the door panel can be digitally recorded for possible future reference. This can be particularly useful in Sheltered Housing units where a caller is inadvertently admitted to the building but goes on to commit a crime. Visual evidence of the caller can then be retrieved and submitted as police evidence should a prosecution arise.
